Al-Mawaddah launches the Mawaddah Family cartoon series

The Mawaddah Association launched an awareness campaign under the slogan “Childhood is a Right” on the occasion of World Children’s Day 2023, which includes a guide to childhood development services with affection. It also launched the “Mawaddah Family” cartoon series on the Shahid MBC platform, which contains 14 episodes that promote family and social values ​​for the segment of children aged 6-9. Years.
The association organized an evening entitled “Skills and the Art of Dealing with Children.” A group of awareness stories for children and awareness exhibitions were also launched at the association’s main center and its branches in Jeddah, Mecca, Taif, Al-Baha, Asir, Najran, Bisha, and Jazan, and at the Naval Base Hospital in Jeddah and the Maternity Hospital in Al-Aziziyah.
The Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, Eng. Faisal Al-Samnoudi said that the association has served 30,942 children directly from 2020 to date, including 25.8% this year through child care, protection from violence, training, guidance and awareness services.
Al-Samannoudi stressed that affection aims to reach a safe and stable child psychologically and socially through the safety and protection of the child and building his capabilities through a group of initiatives, including the Innovative Child Center, which aims to develop children’s skills, provide them with family support, and treat behavioral and developmental disorders. Family protection, which aims to protect children from violence and contribute to recovery through the abused children’s recovery program.
He added that Al-Mawaddah will provide an alternative, safe and sound environment for the exchange of visits, preparation and psychological training for children from separated families, and training programs to enhance parents’ skills in education, protect children from harassment, enhance family values ​​for the children’s segment, and digital safety for the child.

It is worth noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pays great attention to children and was one of the first countries to ratify, implement and disseminate the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. It also established a system to protect children from abuse in 2016 AD.
