MANGUPURA, – Badung Regent Nyoman Giri Prasta stated that the handover of cash grants to the community and the handover of BKK to the Village Government in Badung Regency in the 2024 APBD with the amount of more than IDR 979 billion, aims to implement programs and policies that provide optimal benefits for the community . This is by prioritizing the concept of good cooperation between the government and the people of Badung Regency.

“We want to achieve good economic equality through development, so that the purchasing value of Badung people increases. If this goes well, equitable prosperity will be realized,” said Regent Giri Prasta after giving a speech at the grant handover event, Wednesday (3/4) located at the Giri Nata Mandala Cultural Hall, Badung Community Center.

On that occasion, Regent Giri Prasta also reminded the beneficiary community to take full responsibility in managing and using the grant budget that has been received according to their respective designations, so that it is hoped that legal cases will not arise in the future.

“Providing this grant is a manifestation of our presence, as well as being a smart step for the Badung Regency Government to help the community down to the banjar level. We agree as a big family to unite to build Badung. “For this reason, the beneficiary community must take full responsibility for using the grant funds, lest this assistance cause legal problems in the future,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, Regional Secretary Adi Arnawa said in his report that the number of grant recipients in the 2024 fiscal year was 1,116. With a total budget of more than IDR 979 billion which is intended to support development in various fields in order to improve community welfare.

“All of us Badung people must unite to build a golden bridge for future generations, by building infrastructure, facilities and infrastructure in various fields, supporting community empowerment and accelerating development to create a peaceful, advanced and prosperous community life,” said Adi Arnawa.
