The award certificate was handed over directly by the Minister of PAN-RB, Abdullah Azwar Anas at the RBXperience and Submission of Evaluation Results of Bureaucratic Reform (RB), Government Agency Performance Accountability (AKIP), and ZI in 2023, at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Wednesday (6/12).

Regional Secretary (Sekda) I Wayan Adi Arnawa, representing the Regent of Badung and the Head of South Kuta Subdistrict I Ketut Gede Arta were present directly at the event. At the awards event, South Kuta District received an award for its achievements as a service work unit with a designation towards WBK.

South Kuta District is the only sub-district in Indonesia that received the 2023 ZI WBK title by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform. As is known, the event was opened directly by the Vice President (Wapres) of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma’ruf Amin. Also present were the Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Of this number, 85 work units received WBK awards, and 24 work units received WBBM awards from 27 Ministries/Institutions and 24 Regional Governments (Pemda).

After the event, Regional Secretary Adi Arnawa said that the implementation of the AKIP, RB and ZI evaluation was a motivation for regional agencies to be able to make breakthroughs in moving RB which had a direct impact on society. “On behalf of the Badung Regency Government, we congratulate the South Kuta District for receiving the WBK award, this can be a new motivation and enthusiasm for regional officials within the Badung Regency Government so that they can continue to make new breakthroughs to realize good and sustainable government governance to support national development and of course for the welfare of society,” he said.

As a quick note, the 2023 RB, AKIP and ZI Evaluation Results Appreciation and Submission event is the end of the RBXperience series. RBXperience includes peer teaching activities as a means of knowledge sharing from pilot government agencies to accelerate bureaucratic reform achievements, as well as coaching clinics as an interactive forum between government agencies and ministries/institutions at the meso level in order to obtain input for improving the implementation of RB in their agencies.
