Bali Police Chief Reviews Election Security Readiness at Tabanan Police

TABANAN, BALIPOST.com – Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra SIK, M.Si and his staff held a Work Visit and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) at the Tabanan Police Station Monday (20/11). This activity aims to evaluate and ensure security readiness for the 2023-2024 elections in Tabanan Regency.

Tabanan Police Chief AKBP Leo Dedi Defretes in his presentation presented important aspects related to the geography and demography of Tabanan Regency, vulnerabilities at each stage of the Election, security preparedness, and budget aspects.

Meanwhile, the Bali Regional Police Chief in his direction emphasized the importance of coordination between agencies, personnel management, preemptive and preventive activities, as well as neutrality in carrying out duties. Regarding the security of the KPU warehouse, the Bali Regional Police Chief also emphasized the need for extra supervision of potential natural disasters and potential disruption to election logistics.

At the closing of the event, a symbolic handover of tree seedlings was carried out by the Bali Regional Police Chief to the Tabanan Police Chief and Dandim 1619/Tabanan. This is a symbol of commitment to maintaining security and the smooth implementation of elections.
