Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler will inform the General Assembly of the Parliament in the closed session of Israel.

The Turkish Grand National Assembly will meet to discuss Israel’s attacks and the latest developments in the Middle East.

Due to the closed session, no audience or journalists will be allowed into the General Assembly hall. Closed session minutes and summaries will be published after 10 years. Following the information, the General Assembly will continue to discuss the issues on the agenda in an open session.

Following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s statement that “Türkiye is also in Israel’s target”, CHP requested a closed meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM).

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, responded to a question on the subject in a television broadcast; He stated that, in line with the request from Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz on this issue, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler would inform the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on Tuesday, October 8. Kurtulmuş stated that the talks could be held in closed session in line with the demands from the parties.
