Shimla/Usha Sharma: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said here today that the newly constituted Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission will ensure transparency in its functioning and functioning and concrete measures for the conduct of recruitment examinations for Group C posts. He said that the State Government has adopted a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and significant changes are being made in the selection process with the aim of giving priority to merit in the recruitment process as well as curbing corrupt practices. He said that the Commission will set an exemplary example before other states. Recently, the State Cabinet has approved making rules for the procedure and conduct of work in the context of Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission.
The Chief Minister said that to maintain transparency in the recruitment process, the question papers will be set by automated process through computers while ensuring minimum human intervention. Eligible candidates will be provided the facility of one time registration and after that they will be able to apply online for various vacancies. Various notifications and advertisements related to vacancies will also be available to the registered candidates on the dashboard of the Commission.
After receiving the applications, the Commission will scrutinize the applications and prepare e-admit card on the basis of their user ID. Candidates will be able to download this e-admit card easily. Candidates will be able to enter the examination centers only after verification of the e-admit card through bar code and biometric scanning.
State Selection Commission through online computer process. May decide to conduct written objective type screening test under camera surveillance. For the convenience of the candidates, Common Eligibility Test or Computer Based Test will be conducted. Apart from this, online practice links will also be provided to familiarize the candidates with the exam pattern.
