In the academic area, he commented that the Torreón Unit has had the opening of bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees, such as the Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and the Doctorate in Biochemical Engineering and reported that there are 14 new standards of competence, generating 220 process evaluations and alignment and training courses have been given in the three units.

He pointed out that last year 2,221 new admissions were registered, which made up a total of more than 14,000 students served in 17 schools and faculties, as well as, in three high schools to which is now added the “Manuel Muñoz Olivares” Institute, located in Matamoros, Coahuila.
