Representative Dia al-Din Daoud, a member of the House of Representatives, said that the parliamentary minority rises above any level of internal disputes, related to politics and the economy, in light of the Palestinian issue.

He confirmed during a phone call on the program “In the Evening with Qaswaa,” presented by journalist Qaswaa Al-Khalali, and broadcast on the CBC channel, on Tuesday evening: “We are facing Egyptian and Arab national security, and therefore the Egyptian or higher national interests cannot differ.”

He pointed out that today’s parliament session was almost emergency, in order to discuss briefing requests on the issue of forced displacement of Palestinians, as a result of the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, stressing that it was necessary to have a clear position that expresses the Egyptian state with its various institutions, whether the government or the President of the Republic. .

He continued: “There had to be a clear vision for the armed forces in the efforts of institutions to support the decision related to peace and war in the event of a threat to the eastern Egyptian borders, as a result of the bombing and human push of the Palestinians to the Egyptian side.”

He stated that he clearly demanded that the Egyptian state announce that it is not part of the so-called deal of the century, adding that every loyal citizen now realizes that building the armed forces and continuing to support and assist them is a national duty.

He continued: “Egypt is a country in a state of war on its four borders, and it was necessary to hold a session today before Parliament to be frank with the Egyptian people, and we stand with everyone who resists the occupying Zionist entity in order to liberate the Palestinian territories.”

He stated that Israel is an American state and protects the interests of the West in the Middle East region, stressing that this Zionist entity will inevitably disappear, and Arab Palestine will return to an independent, unified state with Jerusalem as its capital.
