Differences emerged in the PTI over the nomination of Ali Amin Gandapur as Chief Minister.

According to sources, Asad Qaiser, Mushtaq Ghani, Atif Khan and Shehram Tarkai are unhappy with the nomination of Ali Amin Gandapur.

There are 3 groups formed in PTI on the issue of Chief Ministership, Mushtaq Ghani, Ali Amin Gandapur and Atif Khan wanted to become the Chief Minister as group mates or the Chief Minister himself.

Sources say that founder PTI nominated Ali Amin Gandapur, Atif Khan also expressed reservations about the distribution of tickets, Atif Khan was ignored on the distribution of party tickets.

Atif Khan had hinted not to make Ali Amin Gandapur the Chief Minister in his statements on social media, he had demanded from the founder PTI to make a person with good reputation as the Chief Minister.

Atif Khan also referred to his opposition to Pervez Khattak and Mahmood Khan in statements. Atif Khan said that he was criticized for opposing Pervez Khattak and Mahmood Khan.

Founder PTI later realized that Atif Khan was right about Pervez Khattak and Mehmood Khan, Atif Khan was out of the race for Chief Minister as he did not contest the provincial seat.

PTI leader Zahir Shah Toro while talking to Geonews said that everyone is in agreement on the name of the Chief Minister and there is no disagreement.

Speaking to Geonews, Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ghani said that the decision of the founder PTI regarding the Chief Ministership is acceptable.
