The last of the 31-year-old robber’s jumps took place on Wednesday, November 15. To the pharmacy at ul. A very agitated man entered Piotrkowska in Łódź around 4 p.m. He behaved aggressively, threw items taken from the shelf at pharmacists and shouted threats and insults at them.
Pharmacy employees immediately notified the security company about the aggressive customer. Moreover, they recognized the man as the perpetrator of several previous thefts.
And although the 31-year-old managed to leave before the arrival of security staff, he was quickly arrested near the pharmacy. The police were also called to the scene.
Officers from the 1st Police Station of the Łódź police station detained a young man. They also quickly determined that the 31-year-old had a history of similar thefts. Its target at that time was the pharmacy at ul. Piłsudski.
The method of operation was the same there: the man, wanting to keep possession of the stolen items, threatened the staff. According to investigators, over the course of several months in these two facilities, the 31-year-old stole medicines and personal hygiene products worth nearly PLN 3,000. zloty.
Moreover, the man operated in the conditions of the so-called recidivism. He was charged with robbery, theft and criminal threats. He faces a prison sentence of up to 10 years. According to the court’s decision, the suspect will spend the next few months in custody.
