Hezbollah announced that it killed more than 20 Israeli soldiers

In a written statement on its social media account, Hezbollah stated that the Merkava tank was targeted with a guided missile in the Malikiye region in the north of Israel, near the Lebanese border, and the tank was burned.

The statement stated that more than 20 soldiers from Israel’s “elite forces” were killed and injured in the attack.

It was stated that the rocket launchers and artillery positions in the Krayot region and Kiryat Shimona, located near Haifa in the north of Israel, were also attacked.

In the statement, it was stated that “a force consisting of military vehicles and soldiers” belonging to the Israeli army was also targeted in the town of Marun er-Ras in the south of Lebanon, and that Israeli soldiers were killed and injured in the incident.

Hezbollah noted that Israel’s Ruveysat al-Alem position in Kefr Shuba Hills, as well as the Karmiel and Sasa regions in the north, were also targeted.

The Israeli army, which has been continuing controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of air strikes on Lebanon’s southern cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23.

According to Lebanese authorities, a total of 1411 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have died since September 17, when the communication devices used by Hezbollah were detonated.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in air strikes by the Israeli army on Beirut on September 27.

Hezbollah responds to Israel with rockets and missiles. No major damage was reported in these attacks, which mostly targeted army bases on the Israeli side.

Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced within the country due to Israeli bombardment.

While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country to the capital Beirut and the north continues, it is stated that tens of thousands of people have migrated to Syria.
