Hit by strong winds, trees hit the kitchen and PLN cables

AMLAPURA, BALIPOST.com – The fallen tree disaster hit a kitchen building belonging to I Wayan Titi in Banjar Dinas Cegeng, Kerta Buana Village, Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency on Tuesday (21/11). As a result of this incident, material losses experienced by the home owner reached approximately IDR 9 million.

Head of Kerta Buana Village, I Ketut Alit Eka Yustadi, revealed that this resulted in the kitchen building suffering quite serious damage and several kitchen equipment being damaged as a result of being hit. “There were no casualties. Because the owner at the time of the incident was in another room. “The owner estimates the loss is around IDR 9 million,” he said.

Meanwhile, Karangasem Regency BPBD Head, Ida Bagus Ketut Arimbawa, said that apart from hitting residents’ kitchens, the fallen tree was also reported to have hit a cable belonging to PLN and a WiFi provider in the Banjar Dinas Bengkel area, Antiga Kelod Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency.
