Iran introduced a new Shahed-238 jet drone

A new modification of the Shahed attack drone was presented in Iran.
The presentation took place at the Ashura University of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies. This is reported by the Iranian mass media.
The presentation of the novelty took place during the visit of the supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei to the university in Tehran, where he was shown the latest achievements of the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
At the exhibition, a reactive modification of Shahed-136, named Shahed-238, was presented in three versions with different guidance systems.

In addition to the classic variant with an autonomous inertial guidance system and GPS signals, modifications with an infrared/optical and, probably, radar guidance system were also presented.
The version with an infrared/optical guidance system can be used to hit heat-contrast targets, in particular, important military equipment behind enemy lines.
The fuselages of all three new products have an uncharacteristic black color for Iranian drones, which may be due to the use of radio-absorbing materials.
Preparing for possible Russian attacks, the government and the General Staff decided to protect energy infrastructure facilities.
It will consist of three levels. This is reported by the State Agency for Reconstruction.
