The Israeli army launched a new wave of attacks against the southern districts of Beirut. Dozens of Lebanese people lost their lives and were injured in the attacks in the last day.

In the statement made today by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), it was stated that Hezbollah commander Hader Ali Tawil, who was allegedly responsible for an anti-tank missile attack on Israel, was killed in the attack on the Kafr Kila village in southern Lebanon.

The IDF called on civilians living in 25 villages and towns in southern Lebanon to immediately evacuate the area and move north of the Awali River. “We will inform civilians when it is safe to return,” the statement said.
