Jokowi Receives Invitation Letter to Vote in the 2024 Election
JAKARTA, BALIPOST.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received an invitation to vote on the 2024 Election ballot papers from the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) TPS 10, Gambir Village, Central Jakarta.
The invitation to vote was delivered directly by the Chairman of KPPS TPS 10, RW 02, Gambir Village, Hamdy Basjar, to President Jokowi, Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday (12/2) quoted from Antara News Agency
“We have just sent an invitation letter for voting to the President (Jokowi) and the First Lady (Iriana),” said Hamdy.
To the President, he explained that the location of TPS 10 was at the State Administration Institution Building, Jalan Veteran Number 10, Gambir Village.
The TPS will serve 120 people on the permanent voter list (DPT), as well as the additional voter list (DPTb) and special voter list (DPK).
Hamdy said that TPS 10 Gambir would be open at 07.00-13.00 WIB on voting day Wednesday (14/2). The voting itself was held at 08.00-12.00 WIB.
“Mr President, God willing, will be willing to attend. “It is likely that the President and Mrs (Iriana) will come between 08.00 and 12.00 (WIB),” he said.
Hamdy revealed that five years ago, in the 2019 election, President Jokowi also voted at the same polling station.
Apart from President Jokowi, he said other officials would also cast their votes at TPS 10 Gambir, with status as DPTb.
However, he said he would only be able to find out who the officials in question were on voting day.
“The DPTb has other officials, but I don’t know (who). “The DPTb is not registered, yes, he takes care of it at the municipal level KPU, so it will only be submitted when they come,” said Hamdy.
Furthermore, he conveyed President Jokowi’s message to him and to KPPS throughout Indonesia to work honestly, fairly, firmly and carefully so that this year’s elections run well.
“So that the Indonesian people enjoy this democratic party. “That was the message from Mr (President Jokowi) earlier,” he said. (kmb/balipost)
