Major parties of Sindh on one page on alleged rigging in elections

The Grand Democratic Alliance, Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamaat-e-Islami and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) came together on one page over the alleged rigging of the elections.

GDA, PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami and JUI announced a protest outside the Sindh Assembly yesterday against the alleged rigging of the elections.

JDA’s Syed Sadruddin Rashidi, Safdar Abbasi, PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Shaikh, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, JUI’s Rashid Mahmood Soomro and others participated in the meeting held in Karachi.

The meeting was attended by Zulfikar Mirza, Fahmida Mirza, Alamgir Khan, Ali Pulh and others, after which the leaders of the political parties in the press conference announced not to take oath in the Sindh Assembly session tomorrow.

All the parties also announced to protest outside the Sindh Assembly yesterday against the rigging of the elections and said that until the mandate is not recognized, the constitutional struggle will continue.

JDA’s Safdar Abbasi said that in the meeting there was a discussion about the action plan on bogus and rigged elections.

He further said that GDA has given sit-ins in Jamshoro and Moro, friends of JUI had blockaded the Sindh-Punjab border, PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami have also registered protests.

Safdar Abbasi also said that the 2024 election is the most rigged election in history, the assembly meeting is tomorrow at 11 am, all the parties will record protest outside the assembly.

They said that they will protest strongly, fake elections are not acceptable in any way, they will form a committee consisting of all political parties for the plan of action.

The GDA leader said that they will not lift a single stone but will increase public pressure, our members will not take oath in the assembly tomorrow, how long will they protest tomorrow, we will know only tomorrow.

President PTI Sindh Haleem Adil Shaikh said that the rights of 6 crore people of Sindh have been robbed.

Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that members of Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI will not take oath in the assembly tomorrow.

He further said that MQM is a rejected party, votes have gone only to PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami.

Rashid Soomro said that workers from all over Sindh reached the Sindh Assembly in the morning, tomorrow also they will reach the Sindh Assembly under the leadership of GDA for protest.

He said that I ask every worker of the province to reach Karachi, whatever action plan will be taken after today will be joint.
