The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflict damage on the occupation forces in terms of manpower and equipment, exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. They continue to inflict fire damage on the enemy. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the evening of November 20.

During the day, there were 54 combat clashes. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces made two strikes on areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

On Kupyansk in the direction of the enemy, he conducted assaults in the areas of Synkovka and eastern Petropavlovsk, Kharkiv region, where the Defense Forces repelled 10 attacks.

On Bakhmutsky in the direction of the enemy, unsuccessful assaults were carried out in the districts of Klyshchievka, Andreevka, and eastern South Donetsk region, where our soldiers repelled 19 attacks.

On Avdeevsky the direction of the enemy led unsuccessful assaults east of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoy and Avdeevka of the Donetsk region, where seven attacks were repulsed by the Defense Forces.

On Maryinsky in the direction of the enemy, unsuccessful assaults were carried out in the Maryinka, Pobedy and Novomykhailovka districts of the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks.

On Shakhtersky in the direction of the enemy, unsuccessful assault actions were carried out in the west of Staromayorsk in the Donetsk region, where two attacks were repulsed by our defenders.

On Zaporizhia in the direction of the enemy, unsuccessful assaults were carried out in the Rabotino and north-western Verbovoy regions of the Zaporozhye region.

On Khersonsk a number of settlements were subjected to enemy artillery fire.

On Volynsk and Polessky directions operational situation without significant changes. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the armed forces of Belarus carry out tasks in the regions bordering Ukraine.

On Seversky and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, fires at populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

The enemy launched three airstrikes, fired 12 volley-fire rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civil infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
