The inhabitants of the quiet housing estate on Księdza Zygmunta Sajna Street will certainly not forget this Sunday… It was almost 12 o’clock. Suddenly, terrifying screams were heard in one of the apartments on the ground floor. A moment later, Marek G. (†47) stood in the window of the apartment. The man was covered in blood and started screaming loudly for help. His piercing scream brought all the neighbors to their feet. People couldn’t believe their eyes what they saw.

— I saw my neighbor covered in blood. He stood at the window and shouted, “Help, help! He killed me.” Then he jumped out and hit the pavement with his whole body. When I ran to him, he was still conscious. He had stab wounds on his body – a resident who saw the entire incident and took part in the rescue operation tells the “Fakt” reporter.

A few minutes later, more residents arrived at the scene.

— A neighbor, who is a firefighter, ran over and immediately started resuscitating the man until the ambulance arrived, the woman adds.

When the services arrived, Marek G. no longer showed any signs of life. The doctor who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead. The suspect, who had stabbed Marek G. moments earlier, fled the scene.

All services in the city were put back on their feet. After a few hours, the criminals caught the perpetrator of the cruel murder and placed him in police custody. It turned out to be a 33-year-old resident of Góra Kalwaria. What was the motive? This will be determined by the prosecutor’s office. On Monday, the police handed over the files to the prosecutor’s office. Actions are ongoing.
