At the end of March 2022, the installation received serious damage. “YPU “Neutron Source”, like any other nuclear installation, not designed for use in combat conditions. Continuation of its bombing and/or shelling may lead to severe radiation consequences with contamination of nearby territories,” Gosatomregulorovani warned at the time.
