Stating that Israel is the “center of evil and destruction” in the Middle East, Hayya said, “Security and stability cannot be achieved in the region unless the Palestinian people get their full rights. Occupation is the source of evil and instability.”
Khalid Meshaal, one of the former leaders of Hamas, also said that the Aqsa Flood brought Israel to zero point. “This flood, the Al-Aqsa Flood, brought the Zionist existence back to zero point; because it reflects a struggle for survival, a war of existence that shakes its confidence, demoralizes it and causes the Zionist public to lose its self-confidence.”
