Peskov spoke about space cooperation between the Russian Federation and Belarus


The topic of cooperation between Russia and Belarus in outer space is one of the high-tech issues – it is high on the agenda of relations of the Union State. Kremlin official representative Dmitry Peskov spoke about this on Friday, April 12.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin will continue to communicate with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, who arrived in Moscow on a working visit the day before, April 11. The heads of state plan to meet with participants of the 21st expedition to the International Space Station, namely with Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky and the first cosmonaut in the history of sovereign Belarus, Marina Vasilevskaya, who received the title of Hero of her country.

“The topic of cooperation between Russia and Belarus in the field of space exploration is high on the agenda of relations of the Union State.
