Police Arrest 5 Provocateurs in Controlling Chaos Under Bocimi Toll Road

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CIBINONG –– Bogor Resort Police, West Java, arrested five provocateurs who caused chaos while controlling illegal buildings under the Bocimi Toll road, Ciawi, Bogor Regency, West Java, Tuesday.

“Five people in charge, provocateurs, have been temporarily detained, but we will investigate the investigation and determine their legal status later,” said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro in Cibinong, Bogor.

The Bogor Police are currently still investigating five people who are members of one of the community organizations (Ormas), so they don’t yet know their respective roles during the riots.

“Later we’ll see what the role is like, then we’ll convey it,” said Rio.

Previously, Head of Tibum Satpol PP Bogor Regency, Rhama Kodara, revealed that three joint officers were injured when they were involved in a riot in controlling illegal buildings right under the Bocimi Toll road.

The three officers who were injured were two Satpol PP officers and one member of the Bogor Police. The three of them were immediately rushed to the Ciawi Regional General Hospital (IGD RSUD) Emergency Installation to receive medical treatment.

“When there was an argument, the owner and the mass organization threw several large stones and bricks/hebbles which hit two members of the Satpol PP and one member of the National Police,” explained Rhama.

As a result of this incident, two officers suffered bleeding from their heads that required stitches and another suffered bruising on his chest.
