Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd visits the “Expo 2023 Doha Horticultural Exhibition”

His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, visited the Saudi and Qatari pavilions participating in the “Expo 2023 Doha Horticultural Exhibition”.
Upon his arrival to the exhibition, His Highness was received by the Minister of Municipality in the sisterly State of Qatar, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Subaie.
After his arrival, His Highness headed to the Saudi pavilion, where he was received by the General Supervisor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at Expo Doha 2023, Saleh bin Abdul Mohsen bin Dakhil, who presented to His Highness an explanation of the most important projects in the field of sustainability, the work of green environmental initiatives, and the effective contributions of renewable energy, in addition to investments. In major environmentally friendly projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After that, His Highness headed to the Qatari Pavilion, where His Highness was received by the Secretary-General of Expo 2023 Doha Horticulture and the Director of the Public Parks Department in the State of Qatar, Muhammad Ali Al-Khouri, who presented to His Highness an explanation of what the Qatari Pavilion contains, the most important challenges and available solutions that help the transition to an environmentally friendly future, and innovative ideas. Modern agricultural practices that enhance the future of the environment.
It is worth noting that the “Expo 2023 Doha Horticulture Exhibition”, which was launched under the slogan “Better Desert, Better Environment”, is being held for the first time in the Middle East and will last for (6) months, with the participation of about (80) countries, bodies, non-governmental organizations and international experts, in addition to Companies from the private sector, universities and research laboratories, and aims to develop mechanisms and means that support the agricultural sector in desert areas, and to devote the use of modern technologies to the sustainability of resources.
