Rocket attack on US base in Syria

According to information obtained from local sources, a rocket attack was made on the Shaddadi base, where US forces are deployed in the south of Hasakah.

It is not yet known whether there were any casualties in the rocket attack.

The USA has not yet made a statement regarding the attack.

In Syria, in recent days, attacks have been carried out on the bases where the US army is deployed in the Tenef region, Malikiyye district close to the Iraqi border, Shaddadi district of Hasakah province and Deir ez-Zor province, with armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of unknown origin and ground-to-surface weapons.

Iranian-backed groups occasionally attack US bases on the east bank of the Euphrates River with rockets and UAVs.

On October 19, Iranian state television published a report explaining how if Israel’s attacks on Gaza were not stopped, it could be attacked by its allies in the region, which Tehran calls “resistance forces”.

In the video news, it was shown on the map that Israel would be targeted simultaneously with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles by Hezbollah from the north, by militia forces in Iraq and Syria from the east, and by the Houthis in Yemen from the south.

Iran had called many times at the highest level to stop Israel’s attacks in Gaza.

In a speech on October 17, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that “resistance forces” would take action if Israel’s attacks continued.

In his statement on October 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hussein Emir Abdullahian also expressed the possibility of the conflict spreading to the region.

Iran calls Lebanese Hezbollah, the militias it supports in Syria and Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen “resistance forces.”
