Shootout between Sinaloa Cartel and Juarez Cartel in Chihuahua left eight dead
Eight dead, six of them burned, and one woman wounded, left an armed confrontation allegedly between groups of the Sinaloa Cartel and of the Juarez Cartel occurred in the municipality of Crownin the state of Chihuahuathe state’s Southern District Attorney’s Office reported on Monday.

“Eight lifeless people were found at the scene, who remain unidentified, six of whom were found burned and two others were found to have gunshot wounds.”the Prosecutor’s Office noted.
After the discovery, personnel from the Forensic Services Unit took charge of the crime scene, where A completely burned pick-up vehicle was seized, along with various magazines and shells of various calibres, as well as two long weapons.
In other incidents, the Prosecutor’s Office said that a woman arrived at the Jiménez regional hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. The injured woman was traveling on a passenger bus that was passing by the scene of the confrontation.
Hours later, paramedics from Civil Protection of Villa López transferred an unidentified man, about 35 years old, to the same hospital. He died while receiving medical attention for various gunshot wounds.

The Prosecutor’s Office explained that at the same time, an 18-year-old man was admitted to the General Hospital of Parral, who had gunshot wounds to the shoulder and back, although he did not want to comment on how he suffered these injuries.
The bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service to carry out the corresponding autopsy and everything confiscated was made available to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigation.
