Speaker of Arab Affairs in Parliament: The Rafale fighter deal demonstrated the president’s insightful vision…and we are proud of our army

Representative Ahmed Fouad Abaza, Chairman of the Arab Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, described the position of the international community and the United States regarding the silence on the Israeli genocidal massacres against the Palestinian people as a “farce.”

He asked during statements to the “Al-Hayat Al-Youm” program broadcast on the “Al-Hayat” screen on Monday evening: “Where are people’s rights in terms of the Israeli massacres that we have not seen throughout our lives and that history has not witnessed since the beginning of creation against children and women?” He explained that the cities and capitals of the world are witnessing “revolutions.” (Demonstrations) against the positions of their leaders in supporting scenes of genocide.

He appreciated President Sisi’s position in supporting the Palestinian cause since the outbreak of the war on Gaza, saying: “President Sisi’s position exceeds the limits of all descriptions. The past 10 years are one need, and today is something else. The president proves to us every moment and minute his heroic stances.”

He affirmed the full support of the Egyptian people and Parliament for President Sisi’s position to protect Egyptian lands from Zionist plans, saying: “The president preserves the soil of Egypt, and every honorable Egyptian stands behind the president, and we will not spare a single poison from Sinai.”

He denounced some opinions that criticized the state’s interest in developing and modernizing the armed forces against the backdrop of the Egyptian army concluding a deal to purchase French Rafale fighters years ago, saying: “Times have proven that the president had a keen vision when he was arming the army in a way that befits Egypt and its reputation. We have an army that we are proud of in all fields.” ».
