Irrigation system in Narmada Canal and Fatewadi Canal Scheme area has been strengthened to provide irrigation facilities through pipeline and canal by including the villages of Sanand and Bavla of Ahmedabad district and the last end of Nalkantha area of Viramgam tehsil in Narmada Command. .
