Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Daniil Hetmantsev shared new information about the payment of the so-called “Google tax”.

In particular, for the 4th quarter of 2023, 96 declarations were submitted by non-residents providing electronic services in Ukraine. This is reported by ITC.

As a result, at the end of the quarter, these companies must transfer to the budget a tax in the amount of UAH 2.513 billion (€30.1 million and $34.4 million). Compared to the 3rd quarter, the amount of receipts increased by UAH 421 million.

“It is noteworthy that international companies are not waiting for the deadline and have already paid 86% of accrued taxes – 2.17 billion hryvnias,” Hetmantsev added.
