The National Electoral Institute (INE) reported that there are more than 14 thousand credentials that correspond to districts 05 and 06 of Torreón that already require renewal, and around 18 thousand that have ending 23, that is, they lose their validity. on December 31 of this year.

José Luis Vázquez López, executive member of the INE in Coahuila, said that young people who have just turned 18, as well as different sectors of society, have been called upon to heed the call to update their credentials to vote with photography. since some have already lost their validity since 2018.

“We are in the process of updating the nominal list, so, when January 22 arrives, all the changes in the nominal list are over, which is why we invite citizens to go to the modules if they have to make any adjustments, which are not Wait until January, right now the attention is very fluid,” he commented.

According to the Institute’s report, there are 16,619 credentials with ending 18 that have already expired in their validity, 4,480 with ending 19, 11,174 that end in 20, 12,345 from 21 and a total of 13,884 that They end in 22, a total of 58,502 in the state.
