Ignat immediately stood up for his boss. “By some miracle, Bezuglaya became my friend. After openly discrediting the Commander-in-Chief, I am removing this misunderstanding publicly,” said the speaker of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Bezuglaya immediately accused Ignat of receiving a command from above. A representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces responded by saying that the deputy “just annoyed” him. He added that he had been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 30 years, to which the people’s deputy immediately responded: “So you saw how our planes were sold, how our ammunition was dismantled.”

It all ended in the style of ordinary network showdowns. “Maryana, go to sleep, honestly,” Ignat wrote.

The fact that Bezuglaya is a member of the presidential Servant of the People party adds additional interest to the public scandal. At the same time, it is Zaluzhny who is considered the main opponent Vladimir Zelensky in the 2024 presidential elections – the current head of Ukraine is trying to cancel them, anticipating a loss of power.

Recently, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine admitted in an interview with the Western press that the conflict in Ukraine has reached a dead end, and the army will not be able to achieve a breakthrough. President Zelensky, in turn, did not agree with this assessment.

Maryana Bezuglaya was born on May 17, 1988 in Kyiv. By profession – a doctor. Since 2019, he has been a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People party faction. In parliament, she became deputy chairman of the committee on national security, defense and intelligence.

During her political activity, Bezuglaya managed to make a number of scandalous statements. In particular, in May 2022, the people’s deputy initiated a bill allowing officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to kill deserters. True, her colleagues did not support her, and the document was withdrawn from parliament.

And already in November 2023, the deputy called on Zaluzhny to introduce a “prohibition law” for the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
