Toyota presented its new SW4 SUV

After launching in the last month the renewal of the Corolla sedan and the new Hilux SRX with a wider trackthe Japanese automaker toyota now presented the restyling of its SW4 SUV in the SRX versionmanufactured at the Zárate plant on the same assembly line as the Hilux pickup.

The SW4 SRX abandons rounded edges to adopt a body more defined by sharp and more determined lines, noted the brand. This can be seen at the front, with new bumpers, grille and moldings in gloss black that follow the lines of the headlights.

The restyling of the SUV, which has been manufactured in Zárate since 2005, debuts new design of 18″ diamond wheels, with black details, and 265/60R18 HT tires. To complement this novelty on the side, the silver running boards are replaced by new ones in black.

In the back, The bumper is replaced, which now adopts a lower molding matching the tailgate trimboth in black.

The SW4 range also includes the Diamond version, which is positioned above the SRX. With the changes to the front, the SRX takes on the same aesthetics as the Diamond.

In terms of motorization, the SW4 SRX 2024 maintains the propeller 2.8-liter 1GD with 204 HP of power and 500 Nm of torque, 6-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction. In its interior equipment, it has a 9″ touch screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity combined with a JBL Premium audio system with 10 speakers and subwoofer; seats upholstered in natural and ecological leather with ventilation function in the front; dual-zone automatic climate control; 360° vision system; blind spot alert (BSM), and rear traffic alert (RCTA), among other components.

In terms of security, It is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense active safety packagewith functions such as Forward Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Warning System (LDA) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

At the same time, it has in all its versions 7 airbags (front x2, side x2, curtain x2, and driver’s knee), Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Active Traction Control (A-TRC), Hill Descent Assist (DAC) ), Hill Start Assist (HAC), Trailer Sway Control (TSC), ABS, with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (BA), Emergency Brake Lights (EBS ) and ISOFIX anchors (x2) with top strap anchor (x2).

Toyota reported that the SW4 SRX is available in five colors (black, metallic silver, metallic dark gray, white and brown. Its suggested price for the SRX version of $38,735,000.
