Two men detained for forcing children to apologize on their knees for playing games | Incidents
In Moscow, two men born in 1964 and 1987 were detained for forcing a group of minors to kneel down and apologize for playing in the courtyard. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow.
According to the department, the incident occurred on November 19 in the courtyard of one of the residential buildings on Bazovskaya Street. The two men forced the children to kneel and apologize for playing, before hitting one of the boys with a stick.
A criminal case has been initiated into the incident under the second part of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). At the moment, the men have been taken to the department of the capital’s Investigative Committee, they are being interrogated.
“Eyewitnesses are being questioned and CCTV footage is being studied. In addition, one of the men will be checked for the legality of his presence in the capital region,” the Investigative Committee added.
It is noted that at the moment there is no threat to the life and health of the children.
Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee began an investigation after the publication of a video on the Internet in which a 43-year-old man humiliates three minor teenagers in the Tver region. According to preliminary data, he brought the children to their knees and forced them to apologize for kicking a T-shirt with the logo of a local sports club.
