He explained that the health sector system in its various aspects, in light of the health sector transformation program, is moving diligently to strengthen the position of this sector and activate its components as an effective health system that is based on the health of the beneficiary, and depends on the principle of quality and value obtained from the outputs, by promoting public health and preventing diseases, And applying a modern health care model that has an effective impact on maintaining community health.
The Minister of Health praised the efforts of those in charge of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the members of the Board of Trustees for their efforts, wishing the male and female graduates further progress in their careers.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Aws bin Ibrahim Al-Shamsan, appreciated the continuous support from the wise leadership of the sector and the health practitioner with the aim of improving the sector and the staff in a way that ensures that human health comes first, pointing to the Saudi Board’s programs over 30 years that were based on very precise and efficient educational methodologies. It was a high-level program that produced nearly 20,000 health practitioners in more than 155 specialties, including medicine, surgery, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and various medical sciences, in addition to more than 23,000 graduates from the Health Academy.
The ceremony, which was attended by Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan, Minister of Information Salman Al-Dosari, and a number of officials, witnessed a visual presentation on the development of health professional practice in the Kingdom, while male and female graduates took the oath.
