Union Party: The statements of the Israeli Finance Minister fuel the killing machine…and Egypt is prepared for all scenarios

Reda Saqr, head of the Union Party, considered the statements of Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich fueling the killing machine through which the Israeli occupation is claiming the lives of defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip, before extending to Palestinian Rafah, which is about to witness a catastrophic humanitarian catastrophe added to the series of disasters that the army has suffered. The occupation has been its hero since the outbreak of aggression that followed Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7th.

Saqr said in a statement today that the Israeli Minister of Finance, instead of holding himself and his government accountable for the failure that his country suffered on October 7, fabricates charges against Egypt regarding the events that occurred and assumes, without information on which to base it, who is responsible for those events, pointing out that While Egypt supports the right to defend land and resist occupation, it maintains control over its lands and cannot accept irresponsible statements from people who are supposed to bear responsibility for the statements they make.

The head of the Union Party added that Egypt’s position is strong and does not tolerate what is happening now in the Gaza Strip and Rafah. It is prepared for all possible scenarios that are expected to occur in the event of an Israeli incursion into Rafah, stressing that if this intrusion occurs, it will cause a tragedy and a real humanitarian catastrophe that threatens lives. One and a half million people of Palestine.

Saqr warned that Israeli government officials are dragging the region into a broader war from which no one will be spared, and no one will emerge victorious, especially since the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel has become more threatened than ever before.
