The renowned Peabody brand launched the call for entries to participate in the Peabody Award, which encourages new generations to explore our culture and everyday life scenarios.
This second edition (the most outstanding result of the first was the renowned Peabody eTermo) proposes the challenge of designing for the various situations that can occur inside, outside the home or in both places at the same time.
“We invite you to think about design with an expanded vision, proposing products, systems, interfaces, even devising new business formats,” they detail on the premiopeabody.com.ar website.
According to the same publication, the approach is chosen by the participants, as long as the proposals are significant, substantial, and are connected to the theme: “Living inside and outside the home”.
“We want to promote innovation, putting the user experience at the center and addressing particular, local and/or global problems to improve people’s quality of life”,

Closing date and concepts
Projects are received until March 1 and concepts and ideas from:
- products
- systems
- improvements to existing products where design is involved
It is also possible to participate with:
- new business
- Applications
- interfaces
as long as there is an associated object within the project.
It is aimed at all people over the age of 18 residing in Argentina, who prove they are students of the design degree, both from public and private universities, and who meet all the requirements set forth in the bases. Registration can be individual or group (in teams of up to five members). In the case of teams, all members must prove their status as a regular student.
Awards
Each winner or winner will receive the following prizes:
- an amount of $250,000
- participation in the exhibition of the Peabody Cultural Space, future exhibitions or publications that are made.
- possibility of signing an employment contract with Goldmund SA
- a Peabody thermos
