Presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni announced this Tuesday that President Javier Milei will stop using commercial flights to travel, due to security issues.
In his press conference from Casa Rosada, Adorni revealed that the Ministry of Security warned the Government about “risks that exist that the President continues to fly on commercial flights.”
“The President can no longer travel on commercial flights and the Ministry of Security has submitted a report reserved to the parties involved. The President will stop using commercial airplanes to travel. Then we will see the implementation,” he added.
All Manuel Adorni’s press conferences
Purchase of airplanes. “It is the most important military acquisition of the last 50 years in Argentina. The contract is around 300 million dollars, below the market cost of these aircraft. It will be paid in installments. The contract includes weapons and spare parts. This year the simulator will arrive in Argentina so that the pilots can pilot themselves. The training lasts a year and from there we will begin to receive the planes. The Ministry of Defense will announce it. We consider that Argentina is a whole, with more priority issues. We consider that the Armed Forces are a priority.”
Increases in prepaid. “I cannot confirm if Argentina is going to make a presentation. This week there will be news.”
IMF report. We don’t do Futurology. “It is nothing more than an estimate. On the spot we will see if the projection is fulfilled. I neither affirm it nor deny it. “We have no way of knowing.”
Law of bases and tobacco. “Our idea is that the law regarding tobacco should be separate so that the ‘lobbyists’ that one might assume there are from different sectors do not interfere and do not try to do their business.”
