The last stage of the 2024 Giro d’Italia was revealed this morning in Campidoglio, which will end for the second consecutive time in Rome on 26 May. A circuit 9.5 kilometers long for a total of 125 kilometers to be covered by the runners who will start from EUR, then move to Ostia (this year there is the novelty of passing along the seafront), until returning back among the beauties of the city of Rome where there will be 8 laps around the historic center with arrival in front of the Colosseum in via di San Gregorio.

«It will be a stage for sprinters and the games for the pink jersey will already be over – explains Mauro Vegni, Giro d’Italia director – starting from EUR and then passing along Via Cristoforo Colombo and arriving in Ostia where we will first pass part of the town hall . Then we will return to the Zodiac fountain, then again along Colombo the caravan will arrive at via di San Gregorio. The finish line will be in via di San Gregorio – he adds – and there will be eight laps in which cyclists will pass through iconic places such as the Colosseum, Fori imperiali, via del Plebiscito, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Lungotevere, Circo Massimo, Aventino, Porta Galena; then the caravan will return towards Piazza di Porta Capena and then arrive at via di San Gregorio. Eight laps of 9.5 kilometers for a total of 125 kilometers with departure at 3.45pm and arrival at 6.45pm”, he concludes.
