Mayor Hong said on Facebook on the 15th, “Will the opposition party, which won a landslide victory, just let it go? They are reaping what they sow,” and added, “Quietly prepare to deal with the special prosecution that will come to you.” He continued, “In December of last year, (I) already said that Han Dong-hoon would not be accepted, but when I saw him coming in, I thought he would ruin the election and be kicked out like Hwang Kyo-ahn,” and added, “The miracle of Yoon Seok-yeol will not happen again, and if he loses the election, he will be kicked out along with the half-baked leftists who came in with him.” “I thought it would work, but what kind of next competitor is Unwoon?” he asked. The day before, Mayor Hong criticized former Chairman Han on Facebook, saying, “There was no strategy, no message, and it was just an immature political newcomer who took selfies and played the presidential election by himself.” On the 12th, on Facebook, he criticized “Han Dong-hoon, who doesn’t even think about it,” and, citing the fact that former Chairman Han investigated former President Park Geun-hye’s “government corruption” case as a prosecutor during the Moon Jae-in administration, he said, “He trusted Moon Jae-in and became his hound and took us out.” He also said, “He was the one who trampled on me so cruelly.”

Mayor Hong’s remarks sparked a war of words within the party.
