The Municipality of Córdoba, through its Secretary of Education and the Ente Córdoba Obras y Servicios (COyS), made the first delivery of school kits to 10 schools in the city.
The recipients were students of the first grades of the schools Ing. Juan Masjoán, Dr. Jorge Orgaz, Dr. Emilio Baquero Lazcano, Dr. Juan B. Justo, Maestro Manuel Oliva, Saúl Taborda, Dr. Horacio García, Dr. Raúl Victorino Martínez and Arsenio Murugarren and Dr. Raúl Fernández, who already have all the necessary materials for the start of classes.
The kits have a backpack, pencil case, ruler and plantable pencils, products of the circular economy, based on recycling carried out by the municipality together with the city’s work cooperatives.
“It is important to collaborate with education in these difficult times. This will be a long journey of joint work between the Ministry of Education and the COyS, because recycling is also educating,” said the Secretary of Education, Alicia La Terza.

“It is very important that they hand over the backpacks because they teach them a lot about recycling, which for them is a great world, they learn a lot and it catches their attention,” said Candelaria, the mother of a student at the Dr. Raúl Fernández school. .
Rubén, father of a student from the same school, said that at home they will now begin to separate waste.
