Olave and his bitterness for the points that escaped

Racing let two points escape this Sunday when they tied 1-1 against Ferro at the Miguel Sancho.
The Academy started by winning the match and did not know how to close the result against one of the rivals that fights at the bottom of the table.
“There are things that we have to improve because when Racing prevails in the game it always generates unevenness. It is what we have to try to sustain for a longer amount of time,” explained coach Juan Carlos Olave to the media.
And he added: “It always makes you angry when they score goals against you even if they are not from set pieces. But because of how the game was going, without them being able to hurt us, it hurts more that it happened that way. They didn’t create any chances in any other way in the second half. They did have a counterattack in the first half in which they were able to get out of the way sooner.”
On the other hand, the coach remarked that “in the first half Racing had more situations. It was an even game in general terms, very tight. Everything was very close in the middle of the field. “We must decide better in the rival field.”
Then the DT continued with his analysis of the draw against Ferro and said: “Whenever you can’t win you have to add. But having the game as we had it… winning, we had had a good counterattack to expand. We were not suffering. That is why we are left with bitter knowledge. We had it under control from goal situations, not from possession of the ball.”

And he concluded: “After the tie we tried to change the forms and manners. We had two situations that could have given us victory. But the feeling is bitter.”
The team will train again this Tuesday thinking about what will be the game this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. against San Miguel in Buenos Aires for the 12th date of the Primera Nacional.
Then Racing will host Quilmes on Sunday the 28th from 3:30 p.m. at the Miguel Sancho.
