The investigation, conducted with the support of the Central Organized Crime Investigation Service of Rome and Europol, made it possible to dismantle the ‘Ndrangheta association, which recognized the powerful Piromalli gang as “its solid point of reference” concludes the note from the prosecutor’s office from Milan.

The ‘Ndrangheta also defrauded temporary employment agencies

Among the extortion activities for “debt collection”, however, there is “the stipulation of fictitious supply contracts in the absence of actual needs for the use of workforce, to defraud numerous temporary employment agencies with the complicity of the temporary workers who, systematically , they paid back the salaries of the associates of the criminal group.”
