32 tourism and entertainment projects in Medina compete with the rest of Saudi Arabia’s tourist regions

The Medina Development Authority told Al-Eqtisadiah that work is underway to implement 32 tourism and entertainment projects, which will be transferred to compete with the rest of Saudi Arabia’s tourist regions.

The authority explained that the projects fall under 5 groups, “parks, museums and historical sites, farms and orchards, malls and boulevards, transportation and tourist places,” some of which are in the process of work, some of which have been completed, and some of which will be started during the coming period.

It includes 32 tourist and entertainment sites, including 5 parks, 11 museums and historical sites, 8 transportation and tourist sites, 4 farms and orchards, and 4 malls and a boulevard.

The parks include King Fahd Park, Mount Uhud Park, Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Park, and the Mubarak Valley Park, which covers an area of ​​20,000 square metres, and is considered one of the service and recreational facilities projects. It includes parking spaces that can accommodate 80 cars, a dedicated bicycle path, and green spaces. Mountain Park is considered one of the developmental projects implemented by the Municipality.
