By generation, the percentage of people in their 60s who thought they had a high entrepreneurial spirit was the highest at 51.2%. This was followed by those in their 30s (41.3%), 20s (37.9%), 40s (32.1%), and 50s (31.2%).

Reasons for low entrepreneurship were fear of failure (28.1%), lack of entrepreneurship education inside and outside of school (26.3%), and an atmosphere that favors high-income workers such as professionals and large companies (25.3%).

Due to the low entrepreneurial spirit, both favorability toward starting a business (70.6) and intention to start a business (56.7) among the items surveyed were the lowest. The preference for startups and venture companies that require risk-taking by demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit was at the top, but the intention to choose a career was at the bottom. Career choice preference was highest for large companies at 75.6.

The entrepreneurial spirit they wanted to possess included the ability to seize opportunities such as creativity and innovation (37.2%), the ability to execute such as a challenging spirit (31.8%), and leadership and communication skills (17.4%).

Meanwhile, 59.5% of the public evaluated their level of economic knowledge as low. By generation, those in their 50s accounted for the highest rate at 68.3%, followed by those in their 40s (62.5%), 20s (61.5%), 30s (54.3%), and those in their 60s or older (53.7%).

Regarding economic education topics they would like to learn, the following order was △financial management tailored to aging (25.9%) △market economic principles (22.1%) △living economy including taxes (22.1%).
