Some of us keep smartphones close to us even when we sleep, using this moment to charge the battery of our device. However, as the case of Mr. Piotr from Szczecin shows, this can be very dangerous.
A few days ago, a man went to bed with his iPhone connected to the charger next to him. However, not everything went as expected. In the morning, Mr. Piotr woke up smelling burning plastic.
Tonight at 5 o’clock I smelled burning plastic and found it in my bed. The phone, mattress and pillow burned… but luckily. BIG LUCK!
– the man wrote on Facebook.
Fortunately, the fire was quickly extinguished. The injured party suffered minor injuries, as he explains: “burning hair and burns on the head.” At the same time, it warns all cell phone users against charging their cell phone in bed at night.
I draw a lesson from this incident for the future. Do the same

It is not known what led to this nightmarish incident. Internet users commenting on the entry rapidly assume that both a faulty phone and a faulty charger may be responsible for the fire.
