Al-Hilal won by three goals to nothing, and in 2021, Al-Hilal won the Super Cup when it faced Al-Faisaly and won on penalties, and in 2022-2023 the tournament witnessed a development and change in its system to become with the participation of four clubs, namely the Saudi League champion and runner-up, in addition to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup champion and runner-up, The first edition after the change brought together the champion of the Saudi League, Al-Hilal, runner-up, Al-Ittihad, the champion of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, and the third-placed team in the league, Al-Nassr. Al-Ittihad was able to achieve its first Super Cup title after defeating its counterpart, Al-Fayha, with two goals.
