Entering through the main door of the CES 2024 central pavilion in Las Vegas is not an easy task. The stand set up by LG features a set of stacked LG Signature Oled T screens, which the brand presents as the first wireless transparent Oled TV.

When the TVs start working, ranging from images of flowers and animals in high definition, to metal structures that move to the sound of loud music, the audience gathers to see what will happen next.

“As soon as I entered, I thought it was a window, I could see people on the other side, waving. But then, the TVs started showing films and moving in front of us, so there were so many people waiting to see”, he says consultant Linn Park, 32, who came from South Korea for the event.

The TV combines a transparent OLED screen and wireless audio and video transmission technology. According to the brand, the transparent screen allows users to place the TV in the middle of the room to act as a room divider or place it against the window without blocking the outside view.

The device uses wireless transmission technology, which also helps you position it anywhere, regardless of where electrical outlets are located.

Artificial intelligence is the theme of the 2024 edition of CES, which takes place this week in Las Vegas. The event brings together business partners, big brands, startups and investors from different parts of the world. Brands want to bring technologies considered complex closer to home use.

Samsung, for example, presented the Bespoke 4-Door Flex 2024 refrigerator with AI Family Hub technology. The refrigerator has a 32-inch screen on the door, with an AI Vision Inside display.

It uses an internal camera to recognize up to 33 different foods placed in and removed from the refrigerator and suggests recipes with those ingredients.

According to the company, users also program consumption by date on the screen, which allows the refrigerator to send a message when the set day approaches, which can help reduce waste.

“I found it interesting that the notices are large and everything seems intuitive”, says retired American Ellyn Jameson, 67, who was visiting the fair.

Brands face a challenge in including AI in home appliances, without making their use difficult for consumers who are not accustomed to new technologies.

The Zeo One, for example, is Roborock’s first experience in washing and drying machines. The brand is best known for manufacturing robot vacuum cleaner models.

The appliance has moderate temperature drying technology that can dry delicate clothes at precise temperatures controlled by smart sensors to prevent damage.

The machine also has a self-cleaning system that automatically collects and removes lint, application control and features that promise to eliminate bacteria, pet hair and more resistant stains.
