Continuing to Grow, Nyuh Kuning Traditional Village LPD Now Has a New Office

GIANYAR, BALIPOST.com – LPD Widya Artha, Nyuh Traditional Village, Ubud, Gianyar now has a representative place. The Nyuh Kuning Traditional Village LPD now occupies a new building or office on 4 acres of customary land.

The Rsi Gana, Melaspas, Mendem Pedagingan ceremony as well as the inauguration of the new office was carried out by the Acting Regent of Gianyar represented by the Head of the Gianyar Economic Division, I Kadek Alit Wirawan, by signing an inscription on Sunday 14 April 2024.

The village head of the Nyuh Kuning Traditional Village, Made Suja, accompanied by the Head of the Widya Artha LPD, Ni Ketut Karsi, said that the Widya Artha LPD was established based on Gianyar Regent’s Decree Number 262 of 2000 with initial funding of IDR 5 million. Then it was strengthened by the Decree of the Governor of Bali Number 540 of 2000.

Initially, the Nyuh Kuning Traditional Village LPD had three employees and Ni Ketut Karsi as chairman.

This LPD does not have a permanent office, so each of the three LPD administrators’ homes is used as a place of business.

Then, as time progressed and public confidence increased, the LPD borrowed Balai Banjar to use as an office.

It is hoped that this LPD will continue to progress, providing the best service to the community, especially in the economic sector. So that the existence of LPD can be felt by the community. (Agung Yuliantara/denpost)
