Eight out of ten Portuguese people are in favor of the European Union

The Portuguese are also those who least consider belonging to the EU to be a negative thing, at just 4%.
As for France, the nation that is historically the most pro-European, having led the creation and various phases of the deepening of the Union, the number of people dissatisfied with the European body has increased – also following the growth of Marine Le Pen, who leads the polls – and It is the country, together with the Czech Republic and Italy, that most strongly considers that belonging to the EU is not advantageous, with a rate of 23%.
