Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, received a report from the Ministry’s Operations and Crisis Management Room on following up on developments in the situation in the governorates during the first and second day of the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The Operations Room report indicated that the governors are monitoring the atmosphere of citizens’ celebration of Eid al-Fitr through the unified control centers of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network to work for the safety and comfort of citizens and their families and provide them with all necessary facilities.
The report of the Ministry’s Operations and Crisis Management Room also pointed out the large demand from citizens and their families of all ages in the governorates for public parks, amusement parks and amusement parks in various cities and villages, amid the calm and stability of the general situation.
The Operations Room report also hinted at governors conducting field tours in various regions and some public facilities to monitor the influx of citizens and families to gardens, parks, beaches, hospitals, orphanages and the elderly, to share with citizens their joy in celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
The report also confirmed the monitoring of a number of cases of illegal construction and encroachment on agricultural lands in an attempt to exploit the Eid al-Fitr holiday, as they were removed in the cradle in coordination with the concerned authorities in the governorates and taking the necessary legal measures against violators.
The Minister of Local Development directed that the Ministry’s Operations Room continue to monitor the situation in the governorates in cooperation with the main operating rooms in the governorates throughout the day during the Eid days and to coordinate with the Central Operations Room in the Council of Ministers in the event of any emergency events.
Major General Hisham Amna also directed the executive agencies in the governorates to continue raising the degree of readiness in all service sectors until the end of the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday and to intensify campaigns to raise occupancy and public cleanliness in the main and secondary streets and squares and to remove any encroachments on the main road, as well as the continuous presence of the heads of cities and neighborhoods and executive leaders on the street. To work for the comfort and safety of citizens.
The Minister of Local Development also stated that the Ministry’s “Your Voice is Heard” initiative receives any complaints from citizens during the days of Eid through the initiative’s methods through:

Major General Hisham Amna indicated that the initiative had received a number of complaints regarding cleanliness, illegal construction, and encroachments on agricultural lands, and communication had been made with the governorates.
