During the Prime Minister’s tour around the factory, Ahmed Bahgat, Director of Beko Misr, explained that the factory is built on a total area of ​​114 thousand square meters, with Turkish investments amounting to more than 100 million dollars, pointing out that this factory is one of the first industrial facilities to obtain The golden license in Egypt, which is granted by the government to investors and contributes to accelerating the pace of project implementation.

In this context, Bahgat said: The company thanks the Egyptian government for the continuous support that investors receive by simplifying their procedures and overcoming any obstacles or challenges they face in pumping new investments. To implement various projects that meet the needs of the local market, in addition to its efforts to localize the industry, adding that the company continues to work on implementing its project thanks to the great support from the government, through various concerned agencies and agencies, which will contribute to accelerating the start of actual operation as soon as possible.

He added that the factory is an important step within the framework of the company’s strategy to expand its investments in Egypt and increase Egyptian exports of home appliances, as the company aims not only to serve the local market, but also to export more than 60% of production to global markets. We are also committed to supporting Egypt’s 2030 vision to achieve Sustainable development by providing thousands of direct and indirect job opportunities, and providing innovative, environmentally friendly technological solutions that meet the needs of the Egyptian market.

The Prime Minister inspected the factory’s various production lines, where he was briefed on the stove production line and the experimental line for producing refrigerators, as the company relies on the use of modern technology in manufacturing its products, as part of the state’s efforts to localize the industry and support foreign investments, which contributes to providing job opportunities. Increasing the gross domestic product and enhancing Egyptian exports.

Meanwhile, Moanes Abdel Halim, director of production engineering at the factory, said that the first phase of the factory is being completed to produce home appliances that include: refrigerators and ovens with environmentally friendly and energy-saving technology, with a production capacity of about 1.2 million devices annually, in line with the state’s efforts for comprehensive development and transformation of the economy. the green.

He added that “Beko Egypt” aims to develop environmental systems for local suppliers, and establish a research and development center that aims to transfer knowledge to the local market to create sustainable value for all feeding industries to support the government’s strategy to deepen industrial localization and make Egypt a center for manufacturing and exporting to foreign markets, as the company plans to export to Europe and the Middle East. And Africa, under the slogan “Made in Egypt” and providing 2,000 direct and indirect job opportunities.

During his visit to the factory, company officials explained to the Prime Minister that the factory will present its first production of ovens produced according to the highest specifications and using the latest technology, noting that the company recently hosted 100 business partners from all over the Middle East and Africa region; To view factory products and receive export orders.

It is worth noting that “Beko” has been present in the Egyptian market for 10 years and aims to reach 750 showrooms, and 83 customer service and maintenance points throughout the republic, as the company invests in innovation and development to keep pace with the needs and aspirations of its customers, in line with the Egyptian state’s efforts to achieve sustainability.
